Raúl's first Europa League goal sends Schalke into last 32

Comfortably the Champions League's all-time leading scorer, predatory striker Raúl González Blanco finally opened his account in the Europa League to fire former champion Schalke into the knockout stage.
The legend scored a 57th-minute winner as Schalke sealed first place in Group J by beating Steaua Bucharest 2-1 in Gelsenkirchen. Yet, Raúl has been failed to find the net in four Europa League matches before breaking his duck against Steaua, pouncing on a loose ball to steer home a close-range finish after Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's shot was blocked by Eric Bicfalvi.
The first goal in Europa League makes him "unreachable" at the top of the list of all-time leading scorers with 74 historical goals in all UEFA European competition, 4goals away from the nearest challenger Italian opportunist  striker AC.Milan's Filippo Inzaghi.

"It is great to play alongside him (Raúl) because he is very experienced, clever, and has seen so much." - Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

"Raúl's goal was the result of an individual mistake of us , but everyone knows that you can't make a single mistake if he (Raúl) is on the field."  - Ilie Stan, Steaua coach

"Playing against player like Raúl González gave us extra motivation, shame we were losing concentration for some minutes and  a player like him (Raúl) just needed few seconds to change the game." -Geraldo Alves, Steaua defender
